In order to be cost effective I try and repair things rather then just replace. I have tried replacing the blade assembly without this tool and it is a pain. I was using a screw driving for leverage and was constantly slipping and slamming my hand down. This just slides in there really easy and with a little bit of leverage unscrews/screws it right off/on.
