Following the instructions on the bottle were simple. After one treatment, my old goretex was back to keeping me dry in the rain. So far, the one washing has kept my jacket water repellent for 12 months of New England wear. With this one step product, it just made that process much easier. Before I used had to wash my clothes first before using the waterproofer. THis uses 1/2 the water and electricity to do the same job. Very simple to use and very effective. I used this product to reproof a pair of pretty pricey but a bit aged) over trousers. Really easy to do just popped it in the washer, no problem. I have tested them in the rain, and they are not quite as good as new, but at over $150 to replace them, it was worthwhile giving this a try. |
